If you are a self-confessed tech freak with lots of home entertainmentequipments at home and many other nifty gadgets that you deem indispensable in your left, you are probably stuck with dozen or so of remote controls. It is time to learn a few ideas on how to organize them.
- Label your remote controls so you will know which one goes with which equipment. Print the labels on sticker papers and then stick them at the back of the remote control. This will make it easier to find the remote control that you want.
- Get a nice small storage box for your remote controls. A small whicker basket will do the trick. If not, you can always buy one of those small ice buckets. Just put checkered cloth or felt cloth inside to protect the remote controls. You can also make use of small glass vases to keep them if you don’t want to buy a wicker basket or ice bucket.
- Use Velcro. This is another idea you want to consider. At the back of the remote control, stick a strip of Velcro. You can place the Velcro on one part of your wall or on the side of your TV table or entertainment system table. Just put the remote control on the pad of Velcro you have placed on the wall or the entertainment system table.
- Get jewelry case or box with small pull out cabinets. Label each pull out cabinet so you know where to place the remote controls and what remote control to pull out.
You don’t have to spend money to organize your remote controls. With these simple tips, you can keep those nifty gadgets properly organized. This way, you won’t have to worry about losing your remote controls. You can also prevent them from getting damaged.
