A birthday without a party wouldn’t be complete. Planning for a party celebration for your birthday or family member’s birthday is fun and exciting. The most practical and cheaper way is celebrating a birthday party in the house. To give your house a birthday ambiance, follow these simple steps:
1. Choose a theme. Choosing a theme is not really necessary. It depends on the celebrant whether he/she wants to have a theme. Usually it’s a children’s party that has a theme. If you opt to have a theme party, buy decorations related to your chosen theme.
2. Decorate with balloons. It’s a part of any celebration especially birthday parties. Whatever the age of the celebrant, you can’t go wrong decorating the house with balloons. You can buy inflated balloons with helium. There are plenty of designs to choose from. But, if you want to save some money, buying a bag of balloons and inflating it yourself is your best option. Blow or inflate them then tape them on the door, ceiling, staircase and anywhere around the room.
3. Banner. Put a banner in the front door with a Happy Birthday greeting.
4. Decorate with streamers. Tape them on the corner of the wall and then twist as you unroll. Hang them in a U shape form. You can do this by taping it at least 1-2 feet apart until you get to the next corner. You can tape the streamers to the ceiling up to the floor.
5. Decorate with flowers. Give your house some glow by arranging flowers on your glass vases. It’s fine to decorate the house with flowers even if the celebrant is a male. Unless it’s a bachelor’s house and the person residing doesn’t like the idea of having flower decorations.
6. Table Cloth. Use a bright or colorful table cloth to liven up the room.
7. Food. It’s not a part of the decoration but any party wouldn’t be complete without food. Get a cake with candles. For a more affordable option, you can buy a cupcakes and arrange them in a tower style.
Remember, there is no such thing as over-decorating when it comes to a birthday party. Do what pleases you, but make sure that it is within your budget.
