Bringing Back the Elegance of Your Old Kitchen Cupboard

A kitchen will not be complete without cupboards.  It can be a built in or non-built in type.  Over a period of time, cupboards can change its look to make it fresh and elegant.  If you think your cupboards needs some retouching then read the tips below to help you bring back the life of your cupboards:

•  Clean the cupboard inside and out.  Make sure to remove all the stuff inside the cupboard.

• Change the knobs of all your cupboards.  Find knobs that will complement the look of your cupboard.

• Decorate the space above the cupboards if there is any.  You can put glass  vases with artificial plants.  But make sure to clean them up at least twice a month to remove all the dust and dirt.  If you think you can’t do a regular dusting then putting a painting or wall plaque is your best option.  Wall hangings can draw the eye upward to show off those high ceilings.

Once you’re done retouching, give it at least a day before putting back the stuff inside the cupboard especially the food.  Make sure that there is no paint smell anymore as this may affect the quality of the food.
