7 Tips to Clean Your House

Cleaning the house is one of the tasks that we must do to keep our homes in good condition.  It doesn’t take a lot to keep your home fresh and clean.

Here are few simple tips to help you get started:

1. Look around your house to identify which part needs your out most attention.  List down which part of the house that you need to prioritize.

2. Prepare all the cleaning products and equipments that you need to use.  For your convenience put them all in a portable caddy so that you can easily take them with you as you go from one room to another.

3. Use different colors of scrubs, rugs and sponges to easily identify which ones are for the bedroom, kitchen or living room.  This is important to make sure you don’t use the same rug on each room.

4. Use dust and water absorbent products to shorten the cleaning time.

5. To maximize the use of cleaning fabrics, fold them into four and allow one side to absorb enough dirt before using the other side.

6. Open all your windows, blinds and curtains to give your house a natural light while cleaning.  Natural light is effective in detecting dirt and dust inside your home.

7. Divide the cleaning in to two parts.  Wet rooms are the kitchen and bathroom.  Dry rooms are the bedroom, living room and dining room.

I’ll discuss on the next article a more detailed way to clean each part of the house.  You can also see related articles on Simple ways to clean up mess and clutter at home.
